Who We Are:
Rednatic combines several software components into a CCU Addon, a software package that can be conveniently installed on a Homematic CCU3 or RaspberryMatic as additional software via the WebUI. The foundation is Node-RED with the CCU Nodes for Node-RED. This makes it possible to implement rules, automations, scripts, and connections to external services and systems for a Homematic system in a simple, visual way – largely without programming knowledge. The wiki provides further information on Node-RED and some application examples (so-called flows). Rednatic WebApp and Node-RED Dashboard are included for visualization and control. Rednatic WebApp is a user interface that can be used immediately without any further configuration (comparable to WebMatic or Yahui). Node-RED Dashboard is a configurable user interface that offers more features than the Rednatic WebApp, but requires some configuration effort. In addition, the included Rednatic HomeKit extension makes it possible to control HomeMatic devices and other systems available in Node-RED via Siri and HomeKit apps. Connecting the CCU to an MQTT broker with a conveniently configurable topic and payload structure is simplified by a special node.

Rednatic can thus represent an alternative to a full-fledged smart home system such as ioBroker, Home Assistant, OpenHAB, or FHEM – especially for those who don't want to run another server in addition to the CCU. Rednatic can also serve as an alternative or supplement to "Rega" programs/scripts for automating a Homematic system.
Please note:
Rednatic is only suitable for the CCU3 and RaspberryMatic. Since RedMatic may require more than 100MB of memory, it is recommended to use a Raspberry Pi with 1GB of RAM (Pi 2B and higher). Rednatic cannot be used on the CCU1/2. A modern browser is required to use the web interfaces; Internet Explorer is not(!) supported.
